Trippi captures the meeting audio and runs its own speech recognition instead of re-translating the platform's own captions. Delete any meeting in one click.\n\nWHY NOTES IN YOUR LANGUAGE ARE A DIFFERENT THING\nAn AI note taker writes the notes in the language of the call. When the meeting ran in a language you barely follow, notes in that language are simply one more thing to translate — and a summary of a transcript you could not read is a guess on top of a guess. Trippi hears the call, translates it as it goes, and builds the transcript, the notes and the recap in the language you chose to read. Translated captions appear over the meeting.\n\nDo I need a Google Workspace plan?\nNo. Google Meet only translates captions on paid Workspace tiers, and Teams keeps it behind Premium. Trippi works on free and personal accounts.\n\nCan I translate a Zoom meeting?\nYes, when you join Zoom in the browser. The notes and the summary come out in the language you read, not the language the meeting was held in.\n\nWhy don't I see any captions?\nTrippi captions the sound of the tab, not your microphone. Alone in a call there is nothing to hear — captions begin as soon as somebody else speaks.\n\nDoes a bot join my meeting?\nNo. Trippi is an overlay inside your own browser, so the other participants see nothing.\n\nIs my meeting recorded?\nNo. There is no audio or video recording. The audio is processed to produce your captions and is not stored.\n\nWhere is the transcript kept?\nIn your own browser, on your own machine. It is not uploaded, and we cannot read it. You can delete one meeting or all of them at any time, or switch the transcript off entirely.\n\nDoes anything leave my browser for the summary?\nOnly when you press \"Summarize\", and only the text of that one meeting.
