I didn'trealize that if you don't copy the address and are able to restore it as the browser erases the number from it and then if you didn't copy the phrase 12 word you're ******, but think about this Real cash leaves your centralized bank so where does it go? It goes to MetaMasks bank and they don't care if you don't know what you are doing they simply say there's no records, but there really are and do you remember when you sent the funds? There's a bank that owes you money, Call the Senators and make the records stick after all it was your hard earned money! Let's start a big law suit over all the blockchain losses!
